Q: The subjects of emails that I have received occasionally are marked (Rising Spam Alert), how
to eliminate this?
A:
Rising Spam Filter scans email using Bayesian filtering techniques. All email messages regarded as spam will be marked and "Rising Spam Alert" will appear in the subject.

If you don’t want Rising Spam Filter feature, please follow this instruction:

Step 1: In the Rising Antivirus main window, select Settings > Detailed Settings;

Step 2: Go to Auto-Protect > Email Scan;

Step 3: Click Advanced Settings(F2) in the right frame;

Step 4: To disable Spam filter option, deselect the tick "v" following Spam filter;

Step 5: Click OK button to save the modification.

This method stops the feature of Rising Spam Filter, and there is no alert label on incoming email subject.

If you do want to utilize the Rising Spam Filter feature and do not want to label your normal emails with (Rising spam alert), you can utilize the feature of Spam Whitelist.

Step 1: Right-click the Rising Antivirus icon (just like an umbrella) on the system tray and choose Email Scan Exception List;

Step 2: Select Tab Spam Whitelist;

Step 3: Click Add button;

Step 4: Enter email address or subject you want to exclude from scanning;

Step 5: Click OK button to save the modification.

With this method, Rising Email Scan will not treat emails in the list as spam but will still scan them for viruses.
